DOUGHCASTLE HILLS IS HIRING A RESTAURANT MANAGER, who has a minimum of3 consecutive years of experience working as a Restaurant Manager in abusy, high service orientedrestaurant and who is knowledgeable about wine and proper wine service, as well as craft cocktail service.WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO: General ManagerThe Restaurant Manager works with theteam by overseeing and coordinating the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Customer relations: you must be comfortable going table-to-table talking with guestsCatering: planning/execution of any catering leads,working side by side with the Chef/General ManagerStaff development: including hiring, training, performance management, documentation, coaching, and schedulingFloor supervision and expediting: assist FOH/BOH staff with tasks: bussing, food running, serving, prepping, expeditingEnsure proper cash handling and financial reconciliationKeeping labor cost in line with budgetMaintenance of all operational standardsBudgeting and inventory of wine, beer, alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and essential suppliesSupport business controls and budgetWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:Minimum of 3 consecutive years of restaurant management in abusy, high service orientedrestaurantProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, scheduling applications and industry related POS programsExcellent communication skills: which include oral, written and active listeningWork a 5-day work week with a varied schedule including nights and weekends Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time; lift 50 pounds without assistanceAbility to open and serve bottles of wineAbility to make craft cocktailsAbility to carry plates, glassware, silverware, etc. BENEFITS: 100% paid medical (dental/vision options also available) 401 K available after one year of employment Paid time off Dining discount at Dough restaurants Career growth and opportunity Major holidays off Quarterly achievable bonuses Complimentary meals during shift
